The magic of Fibonacci numbers

Mathematics is a magic. Many scientists and mathematicians defined as the language of universe is mathematics. From the very beginning mathematics was discovered , studied and applied by people and still it is not completed discovering. New concepts are introduced day by day. We can see numbers every ware in the world. This is a example for it.

Fibonacci Numbers


At the 1202,A Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci has introduced a series of numbers like  following.

0 , 1 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 5 , 8 , 13 , 21 , 34 , 55 , 89 ......


We can see there a some specialty of the numbers of Fibonacci series. The addition of any of consecutive numbers will be equal to next number of the series.

As the examples,

0 + 1 = 1
1 + 1 = 2
3 + 5 = 8 


Another magic of this series is ratio between any consecutive number (Excluding first 4 numbers) will be equal.
Up to 13 (8th number of sequence) this ratio will be equal to 1.6.After it is equal to 1.61803
In the mathematics, we learn this ratio as Phi (Φ).

(a > b)
(a + b) / b = a / b = Phi (Φ).

There is another most common name this ration. That is Golden ratio.

What is golden ratio ?

As a number golden ration is 1.618

The Fibonacci sequence can be seen in many places in nature.

1.The family trees of rabbits , cows and bees
2.Grown of  leaves ,branches and petals of trees
