How to use Fire extinguishers
Different fire extinguisher types may have different designs, but generally there are same feature and components to operate in similar manner.
To eliminate fires, the extinguishing agent should come out from the extinguisher. It is fed out of the extinguisher's tank via a pickup tube once an expellant (often from a compressed gas canister) is released into tank. When the safety pin is removed, the expellant is released and the discharge lever is squeezed. To aim, users hold the extinguisher by the carrying handle and point the discharge nozzle at the base of a fire. A pressure gauge displays the pressure level inside the tank.
End.......Thank you.
